The Internship Experience

Students who are accepted into the program will gain practical experience working across various departments at Port Houston. Students will apply, evaluate, and incorporate their academic knowledge into a real work setting.  Our teams will encourage students to take a greater responsibility for their education and life by developing self-reliance, personal style, values and beliefs. Students will also expand their knowledge about themselves and their abilities, goals, and career interests in a practical environment.

Upon successful completion of the program, interns become eligible to apply and interview for open roles across Port Houston. Interns are provided guidance and support by the Port Houston team members throughout the process.
