Community Feedback
Ensuring community
engagement throughout
the Houston Ship Channel
Port Houston takes great pride in supporting and working with local communities along the Houston Ship Channel. There are two ways community members can stay involved and engaged with Port Houston.
Port Commission Community Advisory Council (PCCAC)
The Port Commission Community Advisory Council (PCCAC) is an updated platform that will help Port Houston’s leadership better engage community stakeholders who have a vested interest in who we are, what we do, and how we do it.
The PCCAC is a diverse group of 14 individuals representing different communities along the Houston Ship Channel and various special interest groups. This council will help promote deeper engagement and understanding between local communities and Port Houston as we work to provide more open lines of communication and robust dialogue opportunities.
Port Houston is fully committed to building partnerships with its surrounding neighbors, and seeking greater community and stakeholder involvement in the activities and decision-making processes through which we operate.
